My covenant to my god through the light of Jesus community
I accept Jesus as the Lord of my life. Trusting in His help and guidance, I commit to him my life by being a regular member of the Light of Jesus Community and I dedicate myself to the following:
I Shall Nurture My Personal Relationship With Jesus And Live As A Follower Of Christ
I shall spend time with God each day in prayer and in His Word.
I shall receive the Sacraments of the Eucharist and Reconciliation regularly.
I shall live a Godly life.
I shall be primarily responsible for my spiritual growth.
I Dedicate Myself To The Task Of Building A Strong Family For Christ
I shall be committed to build my family to live and reflect God’s love..
I Shall Relate In Love And Loyalty On Other Member s Of The Light Of Jesus Community.
I shall faithfully attend and actively participate in the gatherings of LOJC, my chapter and my caring group.
I shall love my brothers and sisters in practical ways, especially in my caring group.
I shall refuse to gossip.
I shall follow the leaders of the Light of Jesus Community.
I shall regularly give a part of my finances to LOJC as my offering to God.
I shall protect the unity of LOJC and work for the unity of the Church.
I shall warmly welcome all those who visit our community.
I shall be faithful to the Catholic Church.
I Shall Make Myself Available to the Lord
My lord Jesus Christ, you are my savior, my king and my god. I make and sign this covenant from my heart, knowing fully well that abiding by them involves some sacrifices on my part. But, your grace is sufficient for me. Therefore, i put my full trust and confidence in you, believing that you will help me live this covenant everyday, so i can share your glory to my brothers and sisters.
I pray this through the intercession of may, my mother.
